#1. Why "MADE IN THE USA"?The quality of all plastic containers and sponges made in the U.S. were very, very durable and waterproof. The overseas samples from China were very fragile and felt "cheap". The fit and finish on this product is extremely good and it should last a very long time. The sponges are made by a 3M distributor (makers of "Scotch Brite" and "Ocello" products) and blew the competition away with the mildew resistant technology. It all costs more, but in the end, it's all worth it for a quality product I am proud to sell. Made in America and made to last! #2. How much is it?
$9.95 USD shipped. Refill sponges are $4.95 for a 3-pack.
#3. What's the size?
Right now it's 1" tall and 3.5" in diameter. I tested hundreds of instrument cases to see the largest possibility, because it is a target you want to hit (so to speak). This was the largest which will fit in most standard cases.
#4. What's the point? I already use a towel/spittoon/whatever.
That's gross (and you know it!). Wouldn't you rather have something you can use/reuse, wash, and put away without stinking up your case?
#5. Can I sell it in my music store?
Of course! Email firstname.lastname@example.org and get wholesale pricing!
#6. What about discounts for bands?
Absolutely. Email email@example.com for a quote.
